Weddings with Heart - Cocktails, Canapés & Charity Auction Event

Weddings with Heart is a Taranaki based fundraising charity event for the Cameron Clow Trust.
Items will be donated by wedding related businesses, in the form of goods and/or services, and will be
raffled or auctioned at the event.

Event
Approximately 200-250 guests to attend the event which will be conducted as a cocktail party with
guests being served drinks and canapés throughout the evening. Live auctions will run during the
function along with the announcement of the winners of the raffles and silent auctions. Additionally
there will be spot prizes awarded throughout the evening.

Guests
Brides and grooms [and their friends and family] looking for fabulous items for their weddings and the
chance of obtaining them at an excellent price.

Charity - CAMERON CLOW TRUST - in support of young sports people
Cameron was a very talented sports person and accomplished athlete. His sporting passions involved
rugby, swimming, surf life saving, triathlons and multisport. His dedication and determination saw him
represent various sports at high levels, including New Zealand representation.

Complimented by his career of being a teacher, Cameron was passionate about getting children involved
in sports and was actively involved in coaching and sport promotion.

Sadly in June 2009, Cameron’s life was taken at just 30, but his dreams continue on. The Cameron Clow
Trust has been established to support young sports people in their sporting endeavours, by way of
financial assistance.

Cameron was born and raised in Taranaki and was always fond of his routes. Applications to the trust
are open to any school aged child, residing in Taranaki on an annual basis. Application forms and further

Promotion and Advertising
Newspaper and radio advertising. Instore or on location literature and displays from participating
vendors. Guests will be encouraged to attend the location of the item they are interested in eg
reception venue, retail store etc. Website, Twitter and Facebook. All guests will be encouraged to
follow the updates and sponsors items will be showcased on the website via a blog which will be
promoted on Twitter and Facebook.

Fundraising
Ticket sales, goodie bag sales, raffles, silent auction and live auction. Approximately 250 guests.

Pewter Sponsor | Sponsorship value of $500 - $999
Item will be sold via silent or live auction

Silver Sponsor | Sponsorship value of up to $499
Item will be used for spot prizes, raffled or sold by silent auction

Goodie Bag Sponsor [150 items required]
Each sponsor and goodie bag item will be featured on the “goodie items” page of the website
Items will be part of a continuous “goodies blog”

Goodie bags will be given to qualifying guests on the evening of the event


Sponsors may choose to donate to more than one category, eg Pewter and Goodie Bag.
There are also exclusive sponsorship opportunities. Please contact the committee to discuss these
options further.

We will provide point-of-sale and other promotional material as required.
Sponsors who contract to the event by 30th June 2010 will also be showcased as foundation sponsors.
The committee reserves the right to increase the promotion of specific sponsors and items as they may
consider to be in the interests of the event.
